We represented Plaintiff Dmac Construction in an arbitration arising out of Defendant’s failure to make payments in connection with our client’s construction of a $3 million marina in Surfside, Texas. Our client sought payment of monies owed under the contract and was met with counterclaims from the marina owner totaling over $1 million. After a week-long arbitration, the arbitrator awarded our client virtually every penny requested, including attorneys’ fees. Additionally, prior to the arbitration hearing, we obtained the release and payment of hundreds of thousands of dollars owed to our client’s subcontractors.
