Gibbs & Bruns partner Kathy Patrick was named to Texas Lawyer’s Extraordinary Women in Texas Law. Of the 500 state-wide nominations received by Texas Lawyer editors, only 30 women were selected for the inaugural issue of Extraordinary Women in Texas Law. The special issue was dedicated to women licensed to practice law in the state of Texas “who have had an impact in the state on firms, government, nonprofits, academia, and/or the corporate world.”
Kathy and the other Extraordinary Women were honored at a special luncheon in Dallas on November 14, 2008 with special guest speakers Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Chief Judge Edith H. Jones and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Texas Lawyer will conduct a search for its Extraordinary Women only every five years.
