Gibbs & Bruns partner Kathy Patrick was recently elected to membership in the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation.
According to the Foundation, “Fellows of the Foundation are selected for their outstanding professional achievements and their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the state of Texas.”
Kathy Patrick focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on securities law, creditor recovery litigation, institutional investor litigation, and legal malpractice. Kathy has been named a top-tier Leading Individual for Securities Litigation by Chambers USA since 2006. In September 2008, Kathy was named to Texas Lawyer’s Extraordinary Women in Texas Law. Only 30 women were selected for the inaugural issue which was dedicated to women licensed to practice law in Texas “who have had an impact in the state on firms, government, nonprofits, academia, and/or the corporate world.”
