Caitlin Halpern Named 2024 Texas Legal Award “Influential Woman of the Year” Finalist

Gibbs & Bruns’s Caitlin Halpern was selected as a 2024 Texas Legal Awards “Influential Woman of the Year” finalist.

She’s won precedent-setting matters for PIMCO; scored major victories for Oxy in cases involving the collapse of a salt mine operated by Texas Brine; represented a local restauranteur in multiple lease disputes; argued and won an issue of first impression concerning an exemption to the FAA; continued serving as the firm’s pro bono liaison and Executive Director of the Rikers Debate Project; began working with the Texas Defender Service, UT Parole Project, and Susman Godfrey to build a statewide network of pro bono parole attorneys (Gibbs & Bruns has taken 21 parole cases and achieved favorable outcomes in 17, with 4 matters pending); and is becoming certified as a foster parent. Just a few highlights of the past year for Caitlin Halpern.

As a client shared with Chambers USA 2024:
“I am very impressed with her. She’s got a lot of potential.”
