GIBBS & BRUNS OUTPACES TEXAS FIRMS WITH TOP ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

Houston Business Journal gave Gibbs & Bruns top honors as the Texas law firm with the highest academic credentials in the state.  HBJ‘s report is based on a study by Dallas-based attorney search firm Howard C. Bloom Co.  The study ranked Texas law firms based on a variety of academic criteria including law firm prestige, law review experience, Order of the Coif honors, and the like.  In the study, Gibbs & Bruns scored a 5.002 on a five-point scale.

The article reports that Gibbs & Bruns “outpaces the rest of the state’s law firms and goes off the chart in a recent ranking” of law firm credentials.

Howard Bloom, the company’s principal, shares: “Gibbs & Bruns is obviously doing a top-notch job of recruiting associates . . . this is the first time a firm has scored higher than the scale.”

“We’ve had good success attracting and keeping good lawyers,” Robin Gibbs commented about the firm and its efforts to hire graduates from Harvard Law School and The University of Texas, in particular.
