Gibbs & Bruns LLP Promotes Three New Trial Partners


Gibbs & Bruns LLP is pleased to welcome into the partnership: Colin C. Pogge, David M. Sheeren, and Brice A. Wilkinson.  All three lawyers began their litigation careers as associates with Gibbs & Bruns in 2011 and focus their respective practices on complex commercial litigation.

Colin Pogge graduated from The University of Texas Law School, with honors, in 2010.  He was Order of the Coif, The Order of the Barristers, and an Articles Editor on the Texas Law Review.  Prior to law school, Mr. Pogge taught in a Houston elementary school for two years as part of the Teach for America program.  After law school, Mr. Pogge clerked for Judge Sim Lake III, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

David Sheeren graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude, in 2011. Mr. Sheeren was Executive Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy and received the Program on International Financial Systems Prize.  Prior to law school, Mr. Sheeren worked in the securities and finance practice of NERA Economic Consulting.

Brice Wilkinson graduated from The University of Texas Law School, with highest honors, in 2010.  He was Vice Chancellor, Order of the Coif, and Editor in Chief of the Texas Law Review.  Following law school, Mr. Wilkinson was a law clerk to Judge Raymond M. Kethledge, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
