Law & Politics and the publishers of Texas Monthly released their list of 2006 Texas Super Lawyer “Rising Stars” in a special stand-alone issue. Four Gibbs & Bruns lawyers were honored for excellence in their primary areas of practice.

Rising Stars are selected by a survey of all Texas Super Lawyers. The Super Lawyers are asked to nominate the best up-and-coming lawyers whom “they’ve personally observed in action." Candidates must be 40 years old or younger or in practice for less than ten years. Each nominee is given a score based on the number and type of votes received. Independent research is conducted on each nominee before the final list of Rising Stars is selected.
