Andi Gulley’s practice is devoted exclusively to high stakes commercial litigation on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.  Andi has represented clients in state and federal courts, before state and federal governmental agencies, in governmental proceedings, and in arbitration.  The scope of her litigation experience includes securities, antitrust, appellate, municipal, contract, environmental, construction, oil and gas, intellectual property, director and officer liability matters, data privacy compliance, and medical and legal malpractice.

Andi joined Gibbs & Bruns in 2001 after beginning her career with Jenner & Block LLC in Chicago, Illinois.  Andi has been a partner with the firm since 2007.  Andi is licensed in both Illinois and Texas.

Representative Matters

Lead counsel for defendant and counterplaintiff in federal Multidistrict Litigation relating to antitrust, copyright, and computer fraud and abuse issues.

Lead counsel for defendant in a Texas case successfully dismissed under the Texas Citizens Participation Act.

Successful representation of major oil and gas interests in international arbitration.

Lead counsel for major oil and gas interests in CPR arbitration.

Successful representation of outside directors in major multidistrict litigation.

Co-lead counsel in successful representation of frac sand manufacturer in intellectual property dispute.

Lead counsel for technology provider relating to intellectual property, contract, and antitrust claims.

Lead counsel in successful defense against appeal of an arbitration award. 

Part of team that successfully recovered $1 billion on behalf of institutional investors as part of securities-related multidistrict litigation. 

Successful representation of Texas home rule city anti-pollution ordinance in trial court.
